Forensic data provided by client or investigating authority including crime scene documentation, digital forensics, surveillance data, toxicology reports, autopsy findings, witness statements.
Information collected voluntarily through email correspondence or formal engagement agreement.
Use of Information
Information used for:
Case analysis and forensic reconstruction. Communication regarding case status and findings. Billing and payment processing. Expert testimony preparation where requested. Compliance with legal obligations including subpoena response and court orders.
Information not used for marketing, third-party sales, or purposes outside engagement scope.
Data Protection
All client information encrypted during transmission and storage.
Electronic communications conducted via encrypted email. ProtonMail (privatecourtroom@proton.me) provides end-to-end encryption for compatible clients.
Case files stored on password-protected, encrypted servers with restricted access. Physical documents stored in secure location.
Payment information processed through secure third-party processors. Private Courtroom does not store complete credit card or banking details.
Data Retention
Case files retained for seven years following engagement completion. Retention required for potential testimony in appeals or post-conviction proceedings.
Client may request secure destruction of materials after statutory periods expire and legal proceedings concluded.
Destruction conducted via secure data wiping for electronic files and physical shredding for documents.
Third-Party Disclosure
Client information disclosed only under:
Valid legal subpoena or court order. Client authorization in writing. Legal obligation under applicable law. Threat to public safety requiring disclosure to law enforcement or judicial authority.
Client notified of disclosure requirements where legally permissible.
Confidentiality Protection
Information provided through engagement operates under confidentiality obligations specified in retainer agreement.

Anonymized Case Examples
Case examples published on this site are anonymized. Identifying details removed or altered: client names, subject names, specific jurisdictions, precise dates, unique identifiers.
Anonymization ensures methodology demonstration without confidentiality breach.

This site does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools. No visitor data collected through browsing.
User Rights
Client rights regarding information held:
